Christine Mileham – Principal Consultant
Christine started Sal Corp as a boutique human resource consulting firm in 1995, after a (very) short career in finance before moving into corporate performance management, training, development, human resources and industrial relations.
After assisting in the amalgamations team of one of the biggest bank mergers in Australia, Christine started her LG career with government instigated amalgamations and so was born a long-standing relationship in the sector, aided by a grasp of legislative requirements and an interest in law.
Though based in Melbourne, Sal Corp is known throughout the state for its long-term working history with regional and rural Victorians.
Christine’s passion is in executive recruiting, which stems from a personal interest in behaviours and psychology. She enjoys finding the thread of an individual’s career drive and history via a variety of tools and methods (interview, discussions, psychometric assessments) to successfully match them to an organisation and culture. On occasions she has been known to call interviewing, speed dating except without the romance….usually!
Sal Corp also undertakes a number of other projects such as executive reviews (annual, performance management and development) workplace investigations (e.g. complaints, eo, bullying, sexual harassment), industrial and workplace relations projects such as organisations realignments and structural changes, positions description assessments, and varying projects such as salary benchmarking, cultural and health checks, team workshops.
Christine has a broad network in the industry and utilises the specialist skills of other consultants to supplement her skill set and resources, so that you get the best support.
Christine’s hobbies include nature and travel and she has enjoyed an arctic expedition to see polar bears, Alaska to see the aurora borealis and the salmon feasting brown bears, white water rafting in Canada, skiing Europe and America, and safaris in Africa.

Tayah Ritchie – Consultant
Tayah is an experienced and dedicated HR/IR professional with a comprehensive understanding of industrial relations and instruments coming from her time working at the commission as an advisor before being lured into a HR career with local government. She is dedicated and committed to achieving results for your business and individuals and has solid industrial applications and interrelation experience and skills. Tayah has experience in the private, government, not-for-profit and the health sectors in a variety of roles.
Further, Tayah has an eye for details, provides essential support to workplace investigations, manages recruitment processes and supports our clients in a variety of projects from HR or OD support, recruitment projects, document and policy review, position description assessment and rewrites. She is able to turn her hand to most things and has a broad range of skills to ensure that you meet your compliance requirements.
Tayah enjoys artistic pursuits and community work in her spare time as well as sampling and finding that perfect craft beer, gin and whiskey all over the world.
